Welcome to Green Stamp Plus

Green Stamp Plus is an Environmental Accreditation for the Australian Automotive Industry. Initially funded by the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, Green Stamp Plus is a nationwide program. Green Stamp Plus, also known as Green Stamp in some States, is an accreditation program run by the individual Australian States and Territories.

Accreditation is rewarded to automotive businesses that are not only compliant with the law, but have gone above and beyond compliance to work in a way that is environmentally friendly. The result is a win-win for all! We have happy and successful businesses who are rewarded for their great environmental efforts and an automotive environmental benchmark that is being raised. Most importantly Green Stamp Plus Accredited businesses throughout Australia are operating in a way that has the least possible effect on the environment! VACC launches Green Stamp Plus Accreditation for Warehouses

The Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce recently launched a Green Stamp Plus Accreditation for Warehouses in the Automotive Industry. This exciting development was announced at Freight Week 2011. Freight Week is a bi-annual event run by VACC, in partnership with the Victorian Transport Association (VTA).

VACC is extremely pleased to launch a Green Stamp Plus Accreditation which has been specifically developed for Warehouses. Designed in line with the other Green Stamp Plus Accreditations offered by VACC, Green Stamp Plus for Warehouses is based on three levels; Level 1 (Compliance), Level 2 (Beyond Compliance) and Level 3 (Best Practice).

The Accreditation, which is designed to give Warehouses promotion as being an environmentally responsible and sustainable business, focuses on many important areas of environmental management. For example, management of hazardous wastes, refrigerant gas management, stormwater protection, noise pollution, energy conservation, water conservation and recycling.
